Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to support our online marketing efforts. In this role, you'll work closely with our Social Media Specialist and content creator to publish and schedule content, engage with followers, and help manage our Facebook groups and Meta platforms. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about social media, agriculture, horses, cattle and the western way of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and publish social media posts on Facebook and Instagram (Via Meta Business Suite)
- Engage with followers by replying to comments and messages in a timely and friendly manner.
- Monitor company Facebook groups: Approving both members and posts as well as monitoring reported posts.
- Stay aware of trends, questions, or feedback from our audience and share insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram (personal or professional use)
- Excellent written communication skills with a friendly, approachable tone
- Organized, self-motivated and dependable
- Able to take direction and follow through on tasks independently
- MUST have experience working with or owning horses, cattle or other related farm animals.
