Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, providing critical diagnostic information to assist in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of sonography principles and techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations on patients to assess and diagnose medical conditions.
- Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques and equipment to capture clear images for interpretation by physicians.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and examination results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient management plans.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in Emergency medicine, Sonography, Vital signs monitoring, Telemetry, and Cardiac catheterization.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology knowledge, particularly in cardiology.
- Experience working in a lab environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
