Job Responsibilities:
As a Travel ED Nurse in Harrisonburg, you’ll play a crucial role in providing care for patients experiencing a range of urgent and critical medical conditions. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Triage and assess patients in high-stress situations, ensuring that those with the most serious conditions receive immediate care.
- Provide life-saving treatments in a fast-paced environment, from administering medications to performing advanced nursing procedures.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch emergency care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and families, providing both medical care and emotional support.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted).
- Minimum of two year of Emergency Department experience (critical care or trauma care is a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
