Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a family practice in Avon, CO. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a primary care setting, working alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient care, including examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms.
- Provide patient education on health management and treatment plans.
- Ensure proper documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in the state of Colorado (or compact license).
- At least 1 year of experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
