Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - SNF

Location: Albemarle, NC

Weekly Rate: $1188/wk

Shift: 3x12s - 36hrs - Days

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our SNF facility in Albemarle, NC. As an LPN in our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist registered nurses (RNs) and doctors in providing exemplary care while ensuring the overall well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Administering medication, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Documenting and reporting any noticeable changes in residents' condition to the RN or physician.
• Assisting with daily activities, including feeding, personal hygiene, and mobility, to ensure our residents' comfort and independence.
• Ensuring the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for residents by following infection control procedures.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and facility operations.
• Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved practical nursing program and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 6 months of practical nursing experience preferred, ideally in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques, as well as the ability to adapt to different situations and patient needs.
• Proficiency in administering medications and treatments, as well as monitoring vital signs and documenting patient records accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
