Blended Rate: $1160/wk

Shift: 4x10s - 40hrs - Days (Facility will guarantee 36hrs out of the 40)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Perform basic laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood draws.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by healthcare providers.
• Provide patient education on medication, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare measures.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Assist with medical office administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing paperwork.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and administering injections.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
