Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps and assist in laboratory tests.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies in the Medical/Surgical setting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of primary care principles.
- Experience in critical care or ICU settings is highly desirable.
