Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Queens, NY

Blended Rate: $3300/wk

Shift: - 40hrs - Nights available 12am - 8am

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our prestigious medical facility in Queens, NY. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, producing accurate and detailed images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using medical equipment to visualize internal organs, tissues, and vessels.
• Capture and analyze appropriate diagnostic images and data for interpretation by physicians.
• Ensure accurate image labeling, data entry, and patient records maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide preliminary findings and assist in the formulation of patient treatment plans.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained, cleaned, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination process.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when dealing with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements, new techniques, and equipment to enhance personal knowledge and improve patient care.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Possess a degree in Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS, ARRT, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
