Seven Rivers Aviation, located in Georgetown, SC, is hiring Full-Time Line Service Technician. As a Line Service Technician, you will provide support to arriving and departing aircraft and deliver customer service to crew members and their passengers.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for guiding, towing, parking, greeting, and organizing aircraft arriving or departing from the Florence Regional Airport General Aviation ramp.
  • Perform aircraft refueling operations on diverse types of aircraft.
  • Operate aircraft fueling vehicles and ensure fuel trucks are stocked and prepared to distribute fuel.
  • Perform quality control checks to make sure fueling is handled safely and efficiently.
  • Operate aircraft towing vehicles.
  • Reporting any visible damage to aircraft or equipment
  • Handle luggage, provide ground transportation between aircraft, hangars, and the terminal, give patrons directions, interact with customer service representatives, converse with pilots, flight crews, and attendants, greet passengers who are entering or exiting the terminal.
  • Open and close the general aviation terminal.
  • Process payments from patrons
  • Respond to telephone calls at the general aviation terminal.
  • Upkeep of terminals, hangars, and airport grounds
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report suspicious activity on the ramp or in the terminal.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of aircraft fueling equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and adhere to random screening per company policy.

  • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service experience, kind, and friendly disposition.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
  • Must be able to crouch, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to see/read dials/gauges and identify small objects.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • Required to operate a forklift (Forklift training preferred, but not required)
