What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Sales Associate position at Seven Seas Pools and Spas Inc.?
A sales Associate is responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers. In addition, a Lead Sales Associate provides product information to the customer and helps the customer select products that are appropriate for their needs. After products have been chosen, the Sales Associate completes the financial transaction in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner.

Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions
Available up to 5 days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts may begin as early as 9:00am and may end as late as 7:30pm. Shifts are generally 4 to 9 hours in length.
- Create a positive shopping experience for customers by engaging the customer in conversation with a polite and positive attitude.
- Obtain a working knowledge of all products to assist customers in making the most appropriate selections.
- Obtain a working knowledge of the retail software to ensure accurate and efficient recording of customer transactions.
- Suggest additional purchases to customers that could fit their needs.
- Handle customer frustrations or poor attitudes with grace and patience.
- Maintain positive working relations with co-workers and address any problems quickly and politely.
- Re-stock inventory when needed and make manager aware of products that are nearing the reorder point.'
