What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Dental Front Office Patient Care Coordinator position at Seven Springs Dental Excellence?
Our office is looking for a positive and personable professional, who is outgoing and friendly. One should be able to work efficiently, prioritize and organize tasks, maintain time management and provide an exceptional experience to our patients. Responsibilities are as follows, but may differ depending on patient needs and workflow:
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
- Understand dental insurance, file dental insurance claims and complete dental insurance breakdowns.
- Know dental terminology and be aware of common dental procedures and procedure codes.
- Understand HIPAA regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
