POSITION TITLE: Wastewater Treatment Operator (part time)
DEPARTMENT: Technical Services
LOCATION: Chesapeake, Maryland
SALARY RANGE: $28 - $38 per hour

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This part time position requires a responsible, hardworking, motivated, and mechanically inclined person to fill a Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Operator position in Chesapeake, Maryland. Must have a valid driver’s license.
The daily work will include:
- Mobilizing, operating, and demobilizing wastewater treatment systems
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations required
- Able to do some heavy lifting and work in hot and cold environments
- Experience working with piping (PVC, steel, HDPE)
- Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred
- Must possess strong mechanical and problem solving skills
- Must be reliable and self-motivated
- OSHA HAZWOPER certificate a plus
SALARY/BENEFITS:
An employee’s salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications. Extensive company-provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, pension, and 401k plan.
