The Juvenile Officer of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Johnson County Juvenile Center, has an opening for a Deputy Juvenile Officer - Program Specialist. This is a full time, county paid position with benefits. The starting salary is $41,446.00. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings or Saturdays. Primary responsibilities include program facilitation, case management and community outreach for at-risk youth.
Minimum requirements: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a clean driving record, and pass a background check. Experience working with at-risk and/or delinquent youth is preferred.
