Delivery Associate - Seventy Six Logistics LLC

Seventy Six Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, delivers packages and smiles to people within your community every day. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team delivering Amazon packages. As a Delivery Associate for Seventy Six Logistics LLC, you will be on the front lines working directly with our customers and members of your community. It will be your job to exceed customer expectations and make sure all orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place.

Delivery Driver General Responsibilities :

o Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road

o Interact in a positive and a professional manner with customers and general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locations

o Follow up on customer requests or problems with solution oriented approach keeping customer informed of delivery progress

o Use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles

o Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer promise

o Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times

o May assist in training other team members

o Where appropriate, carry out in delivery station activities including sorting and general tasks

Delivery Driver Work Environment :

o Under tight deadlines, drives a delivery van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs. to many customer residences and businesses, climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions

o Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction, or other factors

o Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments, including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year and peak seasons and other factors

Delivery Driver Basic Qualifications :

o Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence

o Proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel

Preferred Qualifications :

o Holds high ethical standards at all times

o Proven track record of reliability

o Prior professional driving experience

o Prior experience representing a well-regarded consumer brand with professionalism

o Excellent attention to detail with skill set to problem solve independently

o Demonstrate strong communication skills

o Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude

o Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, ever changing environment

Delivery Driver Job Requirements :

o Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and / or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long

o Ability to operate and navigate a van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs.

o Ability to effectively operate a GPS

o Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each

o Capable of moving up and down stairs

o Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence
