- Prior Military or Law Enforcement: We value the experience and dedication of individuals who have served in the military or law enforcement.
- Active Security License: Must possess an active Security License in the state you wish to operate in. Having either a Florida D or G Security License is required, but having only one does not disqualify you from applying. Arrangements may be made to assist in getting qualified for other licenses.

While most of the work available is Static Security, opportunities may arise for:
- Special Events
- Surveillance Details
- Hurricane Details
- High Threat Details
- Executive Protection Details
NOTE:
While High Threat Details offer higher compensation, they also carry greater risk for both the Operators and our company. These contracts are managed exclusively by Severance’s Deployable Security Group (DSG Division). While specific training, certifications, and experience are crucial for certain assignments, selection is not based solely on these qualifications. At Severance, we assess an Operator’s work ethic, professionalism, reliability, and temperament during their Static Security assignments to determine eligibility for these high-threat deployments.
How to Apply:
If you’re ready to take on a new mission and be part of a professional security team, please submit your resume along with copies of your Concealed Carry and Florida D/G Security License for consideration.
