Qualifications:
- Prior Military or Law Enforcement: We value the experience and dedication of individuals who have served in the military or law enforcement.
- Active Security License: Must possess an active Security License in the state you wish to operate in. Having either a Florida D or G Security License is required, but having only one does not disqualify you from applying. Arrangements may be made to assist in getting qualified for other licenses.
Equipment Needed Prior to Hiring:
- Personal firearm (If you are applying for an armed position)
- Spare magazine holder (If you are applying for an armed position)
- Holster (If you are applying for an armed position)
- Black Boots
- Khaki Tactical Pants
- Duty Belt
Responsibilities:
- Visitor Assistance
- Incident Reporting
- Daily Logs

- Camera Monitoring

- Rule Enforcement

While most of the work available is Static Security, opportunities may arise for:
- Special Events
- Surveillance Details
- Hurricane Details
- High Threat Details
- Executive Protection Details
NOTE:
Although High Threat Details offer higher compensation, they come with increased risk, for both the Operators and our company. While specific trainings, certifications, and experience are essential for certain assignments, selection isn't solely determined by these factors. At Severance, we evaluate attributes like work ethic, professionalism, reliability, and temperament during an Operator's Static Security assignments to assess eligibility for attachment to these Details.
