Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. This role is essential in supporting the Superintendent in overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Assist the Superintendent in managing all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
- Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and compliance with contract specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and track expenditures using construction management software such as Prolog or ProCore.
- Facilitate communication among team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including labor hours, materials used, and equipment status.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and contract management.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and best practices.
- Proficient in using construction management software (experience with Prolog or ProCore is a plus).
