Early Intervention Specialist - Therapeutic
HOURLY PAY: $20.20-22.84/hour plus mileage reimbursement
Positions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in the area

Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-school early intervention specialized services for children ages 4-21 years.
- Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational services for a caseload of children/adolescents with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
- Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
- Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
- Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents/guardians with written weekly activities and effective coaching.
- Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and school team.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma required - Bachelor’s Degree or some college in Early Childhood education or Human Development is highly desired (Candidates with Bachelor's degrees will be able to gain more hours)
- One year experience working with infants/toddlers/school-age children or youth and their parents/guardians preferred
- Valid CA driver’s license in good standing; also must have been licensed driver for at least one year (in any US state)
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.
- Availability during typical school-time days and hours (Mon-Fri during the day time)
- Must be able to pass state and federal background checks (including criminal history, DMV driver history, physical, and TB test)
