Summary
The Process Engineer will lead key initiatives to drive improved quality, operational, and/or financial performance with a high degree of autonomy. The Process Engineer will partner with field teams, IT, Quality Improvement, etc. to conduct exploratory root-cause analysis and develop iterative solutions that support strategic initiatives. Primary responsibilities include analyzing and identifying process gaps or opportunities, designing incremental improvements, managing change through documentation and training, and monitoring measures of success.

- Process Development & Optimization:
- Conduct root cause analysis, including process mapping, data review, gap identification, etc. to identify areas for improvement
- Design, develop, and implement new processes and/or improvements to existing processes and monitor performance post-rollout for iterative feedback
- Collaborate with necessary operations and quality leaders to ensure regulatory standards, submission timelines are met
- Project Management:
- Own the successful execution and implementation of initiatives. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time and with a quality of implementation that leads to impactful results
- Compose project plans, lead workstreams, and track the progress of intended deliverables and metrics, and support adoption
- Effectively identify, raise, diagnose, and solve any risks or anomalies that impact the project
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions
- Prepare and present reports on process performance and improvement initiatives
- Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze data trends
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with field operations, quality, HR, IT, or other functional teams to understand and address process needs and provide technical or training support where needed
- Communicate results, timelines and status, to a broad and targeted audience, including the most senior executives in the company, on an informal and formal basis
- Facilitate discussions as a liaison between functional and field teams, including “translating” problem statements or requirements on behalf of key stakeholders
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Ensure all processes are documented and compliant with company policies and industry standards

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA and/or concentration in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 7-10 years of professional experience with preference for those in process engineering, product development, or operational consulting fields
Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations
- Six Sigma / Lean / agile certification and/or change management certification preferred
Other Skills And Abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve both tactical and strategic goals
- Strong analytical skills, as well as facilitation, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a high degree of initiative
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands
- Ability to coach and mentor other team members as appropriate
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred

Physical Requirements
- Normal Office Work, Data Entry: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
