SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking a skilled Product Specialist to join our team. As a Product Specialist, you will utilize your intimate knowledge of SEW products and processes to create accurate quotations, ensure smooth order processing, and provide technical support to internal staff, sales, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform drive selections, including SEW-EURODRIVE and third-party products, to meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate industrial drive selections considering SEW-EURODRIVE guidelines, calculation tools, and pricing policies.
- Generate quotations based on established policies within acceptable time periods.
- Review incoming orders for technical accuracy and fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Peer review other application team members' work to ensure high offer accuracy.
- Provide technical sales support to Sales Managers, OEMs, distributors, and user accounts.
Requirements:
- Experience in estimating or quoting engineered mechanical components/systems.
- Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, drawings, and other technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
