About the Role
Currently IG Product Specialists use their intimate knowledge of SEW products and processes to create technically viable and accurate quotations, ensure smooth order processing and accuracy, and provide technical support to internal staff, sales, and customers.
Wage Range : $20-$25 / Hr.
Education : Associates or Certified in Mechanical or Technical degree preferred.
TOP most relevant SKILLS AND ABILITIES being sought for this position :
- Experience in estimating or quoting engineered mechanical components / systems
- Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, drawings and other technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Power Transmission Industry experience preferred.
TOP most relevant ACTUAL TASKS being sought for this position :
Perform drive selections, including SEW-EURODRIVE and third party products, to meet the requirements of the customer.Evaluate industrial drive selections considering SEW-EURODRIVE guidelines, calculation tools, and pricing policies.Generate quotations based on established policies within acceptable time periods.Review incoming orders for technical accuracy and fulfillment of customer requirements.Peer review other application team members work to ensure high degree of offer accuracy.Provide technical sales support to Sales Managers, OEM, Distributors and User accounts.Although we have described above what we are generally looking for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that may make you a great fit! A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
