About The Role

Currently in this position, the student will work in the Wellford, SC facility with both the Corporate Engineering group and IG Engineering team contributing to improvement projects that support the technical/sales and shop staff of the IG assembly plant.

Pay Range: $19-$20/Hr. depending on housing needs.

Shift: 1st shift

Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program at a University/College

• Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to follow instruction, written and verbal.
• Must have Mechanical /Technical
• Must have good Solid Works knowledge or other software required for the job.
• Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions and other technical documents.

• Technical communications and the use of Microsoft Office software tools to document/support
  
  

engineering projects

• CAD drafting (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) for special parts design or shop tools and layouts
• Understand important criteria in sizing gear reducers and motors – torque, HP, etc.
• Professional interaction with IG internal customers in the office and Shop.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
