About The Role
Currently in this position, the student will work in the Lyman, SC facility with both the Lyman Engineering group, Corporate Engineering group, and Sales teams contributing to improvement projects that support the technical/sales and shop staff of the Lyman assembly plant.
Pay Range: $19-$20/Hr. depending on housing needs.
Shift: 1st shift
Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program at a University/College

TOP 5 most relevant SKILLS AND ABILITIES being sought for this position:
- Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
- Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal.
- Must have good Solid Works and/or AutoCAD knowledge or other software required for the job.
- Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
- Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals.
- Technical communications and the use of Microsoft Office software tools to document/support
- Occasional travel for sales calls and other customer support functions.
- Develop an understanding of SEW products and their applications.
- Operate 3D printers to produce examples of tools/solutions.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving in a production environment.
- CAD drafting (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) for special parts design or shop tools and layouts.
