The Facilities Manager is responsible for scheduling and overseeing projects. This role involves coordinating labor to warehouse locations, ensuring safety and compliance, and leading a small team to meet goals. Specific Duties:
Team Leadership
• Schedule, train and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring completion.
• Foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, safety, and professional growth.
• Address and resolve employee issues or conflicts as needed.
Safety and Compliance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing standards and procedures.
• Conduct safety training and ensure proper use of equipment by all team members.
• Regularly review and update safety procedures to adhere to industry standards.
• Equipment and Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment.
• Schedule regular inspections and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Operations Management
• Collaborate with logistics and manufacturing teams to align labor needs between warehouses.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Forklift Certification Preferred
Working Conditions:
• This position may require physical activity, such as lifting and operating warehouse equipment.
• Some travel between warehouse locations may be necessary.
• Flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends, based on business needs.
Salary : $65,000 - $72,000
