Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Home Health Aides will work closely with clients who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness, providing both physical and emotional support.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor client adherence to medication schedules.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior to healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients, promoting their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with supporting individuals with diabetes preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Strong observational skills to effectively monitor patient conditions and report any concerns.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans established by healthcare professionals.
