Position Overview
Primary Function:
Responsible for the development and implementation of admission recruitment activities in the assigned recruitment area, including high school visits, college nights/days college fairs, off-campus interviews, receptions, counselor functions, etc.
This position receives general supervision. Broad instructions are provided and the staff member uses judgment and experience to carry out assignments. Completed assignments and finished products are reviewed by the supervisor after completion.

Position Description
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support on-campus recruitment activities by actively participating (offering advice, taking on responsibilities for parts of programming such as information sessions, etc.) in daily and special events.
- Specific office duties will depend on the skill level and interest of the new hire.
- Other duties as assigned.

Judgment and discretion as to the use of established policies are required to perform the essential duties of this position.
Budgetary Responsibility:

Attributes of a Successful Candidate
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably from a liberal arts college).
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in college admission and recruitment is desirable but not required.
- Experience with various CRM platforms is preferred, but not required. (Slate, Banner, etc.).
Job-Related Skills:
- The ability to articulate the values and objectives of a liberal arts institution;
- Excellent public speaking and writing skills;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Experience and proficiency with information technologies, including database management and web-based initiatives; and
- A commitment to a private liberal arts and sciences education.
