Job Summary:
We are seeking a Waste haul Truck Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a waste haul truck to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials efficiently and safely.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in waste management.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.
- Excellent physical condition to handle repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a waste haul truck along designated routes to collect waste materials.
- Pick up waste containers and empty contents into the truck.
- Ensure all collected materials are securely transported to designated disposal sites.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols while operating the truck.
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups and drop-offs.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck and report any issues.
