Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Road & Bridge Equipment Operator / Truck Driver to join our team. The primary responsibilities include operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators, as well as driving trucks to transport materials to and from work sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in both equipment operation and truck driving.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for equipment operation and truck driving.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various road and bridge construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from construction sites using trucks.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and trucks.
- Assist with other tasks on the construction site as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
