Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into criminal cases assigned by supervisors
- Gather, analyze, and evaluate evidence, ensuring its admissibility in court
- Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects to obtain crucial information
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share and gather intelligence
- Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Testify in court as needed, presenting evidence and providing expert testimony
- Maintain accurate records and case files to ensure the integrity of investigations
- Stay up-to-date with current laws, investigatory techniques, and best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience as a detective, investigator, or similar role
- Knowledge of investigative techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using law enforcement databases and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical fitness and the ability to meet the demands of the job
