Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring and managing supplies and materials from a wide range of sources, ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is critical to our operation and requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong understanding of logistics.
Responsibilities
Review short-term and long-term material needs and order as appropriate
Strong excel skills
Made 2 Manage or other ERP system knowledge
Place purchase order required from functional areas
Vendor contact to follow through on any past due items
Aid in raw material inventory control by maximizing cycle counts
Participate in full inventory counts when required
Back up to Accounts Receivable
Positive and cooperative attitude
Run reports and compile data
Training of others when required.

- Proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics
- Ability to navigate complex systems
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Experience with procurement systems and processes
