Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and passionate English educator to fill the role of Senior School English Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of grade-level and topical courses, including regular and honors English classes, Advanced Placement courses, and creative senior electives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach five sections of English classes
- Design curriculum and instruction with the Department
- Assess and provide feedback on student work
- Use formative assessment to adapt lessons to meet student needs
- Communicate with students, families, and colleagues to support student success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum three years of high school English teaching experience
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills
