Job Title : Pool Manager
Compensation : $6,500 for the season (paid bi-monthly)
Overview : The Pool Manager ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Sewickley Community Center pool throughout the season. This position reports to the Pool Committee Chairperson and the board liaison and is overseen by the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities : General Management
Oversee daily pool operations, ensuring employee supervision and patron satisfaction.
Spend operating hours on-site and be available to address issues with patrons, employees, and the Pool Committee.
Record on-site and off-site working hours using a time card or other tracking method.
Staff Oversight
Recruit, train, supervise, and, if necessary, discipline lifeguards and maintenance staff.
Establish work schedules, approve time cards, and maintain detailed records (certifications, complaints, disciplinary actions).
Ensure employees perform opening, closing, cleaning, and maintenance tasks to established standards.
