JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance DEPARTMENT: Quality

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for managing and resolving defects and multi-customer concerns. Responsible for developing Quality Plans that will provide for 6 sigma manufacturing levels. Responsible for showing continuous improvement and continuous defect reduction utilizing quality core tools PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan and other problem-solving tools.

____________________________________________________________________________________ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Maintain all OSHA’s and Sewon America’s Safety Policies

· Part dimension check and improvement activity

- Set-up the part on Inspection fixture and 3C5S around fixture area

- Check CMM NG Point and investigate root cause of matching issue at Customer

- Support Jig adjustment and verify sample after improvement (Include Die modification part)

• Customer defect issue follow-up

- Support for quality defect investigation and establishment countermeasures

- Confirmation of improvement results after improvement activities

• Part Appearance audit (Burr, Spatter, Sealer and etc...)

- Schedule weekly audit plans and record defect for improvement after parts audit

- Follow up teaching status with PE and Prod, and monitor part condition after teaching

· Weld and Sealer teaching for critical Quality issue

- Customer line downtime, assembly and safety issue related

- Teaching robots to fix the critical issue

· Improvement of part quality for New Car Project

- Sliding Together Verification, Part Dim’s check on the Fixture

SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:

· Knowledge of quality systems, statistical process control, and reading blueprints required, and tools, engineering testing methods, PFMEAs, PPAPs, Problem-solving methodology, 6 Sigma/Lean Manufacturing

· Preferred – Bi-lingual capabilities (English & Spanish)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Factory environment with noise from manufacturing equipment.

· Spends up to 100% of time with internal/external quality control

· Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects – up to 35 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
