The Controller Position
The Controller provides oversight to a variety ofaccounting and finance related duties. This includes, but is not limited to, account reconciliation, standard entries, AP / AR, inventory reconciliation, maintaining the accounting systems, preparing financial statements, financial reports, and anything and everything else that comes up in the Accounting & Finance area.The Controller collaborates alongside the Project Management team frequently, including participation in Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings and job reviews.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Controller
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, construction accounting experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced features of Excel
- Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to be detail oriented with good follow-through and a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
- Ability to evaluate information and make independent decisions
Compensation & Benefits for the Controller
The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary based on skills and experience and an annual bonus. In addition, the Company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, along with a generous 401K plan. This position is based in our Greenwood, IN office.
