What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Counselor/Therapist position at Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response?
Mission Statement : The mission of Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response ® (STAR ® ) is to support survivors of sexual trauma, improve systems response, and create social change to end sexual violence.
Position Summary : The Counselor is responsible for providing individual counseling to sexual trauma survivors and their loved ones. Other duties may include support given to staff and or interns within the program.
Classification : 20 hours / week (Part-Time)
Reports to : Counseling Director
Supervises : N / A
Home Office : Baton Rouge Branch
Salary and Benefits : Base pay range $45- $65 / hour, additional compensation will depend on education, knowledge, and experience.
STAR requires all employees to consent to and successfully complete a full background investigation, which includes a criminal history check and fingerprinting.
