JOB DUTIES:
- Perform final inspection of components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare product for sale, which includes activities such as creating shipping documentation, generating final inspection reports, and completing internal final inspection checklists.
- Interact directly with customer source inspectors (both virtually and in-person) to demonstrate compliance to quality requirements.
- Assist and collaborate with Production by providing technical quality support, inspection oversight, and compliance guidance.
- Assist in the inspection of nameplates, serial numbers, nomenclature, IUID labels, and other discrete product feature requirements as assigned.
- Perform upstream inspection activity to ensure manufacturing process and product compliance, addressing quality issues and improving quality outputs.
- Review and audit manufacturing routing to ensure compliance with internal QMS requirements, assuring travelers are completed and accurate.
- Stay current on industry advancements, techniques, and standards related to final inspections in the aerospace industry.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of final inspection processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
