Position Summary
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Digital Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; Oracle; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; SOAP APIs or REST APIs; and Java/J2EE web application architecture. Addendum to F.b.4.b.: Any related occupation, such as Software Developer, Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester, Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, Computer Systems Analyst, or Java Developer. Pay Range: $111800.00/year to $162000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
