Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. This role requires proficiency in financial auditing, accounts payable, and double entry bookkeeping, as well as familiarity with software such as Sage and Quicken. The CPA will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial audits to assess the integrity of financial information.
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee governmental accounting practices to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with private equity stakeholders to provide insights on financial performance.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions using double entry bookkeeping methods.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Quicken for efficient data management.
- Provide guidance on financial best practices to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial auditing processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with accounts payable functions and best practices.
- Experience with accounting software applications, particularly Sage and Quicken.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $99,922.00 per year
