- Lead a team of medical technologists, technicians, and laboratory assistants to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Develop and implement procedures to improve workflow and reduce errors
- Collaborate with supervisors to validate new procedures and review QA and QC records
- Investigate and resolve analytical testing problems, recommending corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and federal, state, and local regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry (or equivalent)
- Minimum five years of clinical experience, with two years in a similar department
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to establish priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
