About the Job
SFA Marketing is looking for a junior website developer with a solid background in PHP and JavaScript to work out of our Trumbull, CT office. The right candidate is a task oriented, organized, ambitious individual who can support our growing web team on a variety of projects. Must be a faster learner who can meet deadlines, find intuitive solutions to problems and pick up new technologies.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 2 years of experience in a working environment
- Deep understanding of PHP and JavaScript / jQuery
- Proficient deploying websites on WHM / cPanel as well as other server environments
- Understanding of DNS zone files and host files
- Strong frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS)
- Has built a site using a CMS
- Fluent in creating cross-browser, responsive HTML websites
- Savvy with current web standards and best practices
- Willing and able to learn new technologies quickly
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Additional Skills are a huge plus
