South Florida Architecture is a full-service architectural firm located in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. We are growing and currently seeking a full-time Architectural CAD Associate to join our dynamic team.
🔹 About the Role:
As an Architectural CAD Associate, you’ll work directly under the supervision of a lead architect or residential designer to develop detailed working drawings for both residential and commercial projects. This is an in-office position only — remote work is not available.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
Transform customer sketches into measured, buildable drawings
Interpret redline markups and apply them to working documents
Document construction details (foundations, cornices, etc.)
Adhere to project timelines and ensure proper distribution of drawings
Collaborate with design and construction teams
Assist in refining architectural standards and processes
📋 Qualifications:
Proficient in AutoCAD
Able to read and interpret construction documents
Background in construction is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Self-motivated and a team player
Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Understanding of zoning codes, requirements, and compliance
