ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Check all incoming policies for accuracy. Keys changes if policy doesn't match EPIC
- Notifies company of correct information and request necessary changes.
- Prepares all policies for the Personal Lines Account Managers for mailing.
- Assists PL Account Managers with mail, keying changes to the companies and completing follow-up lists.
- Enter customer information into Atlas / SinglePoint / Carrier Rating / MSB's software to provide support to Personal Lines Account Managers, agency service staff and sales producers.
- Set-up Insurance Binders, RMV forms for Account Managers as needed.
- Prepare Applications and policy forms for Account Managers as needed.
- Checks download list daily and ensures all downloads are invoiced by company when any change in premium has occurred. Review commission for accuracy.
- Responsible for company downloads / edocs / claims.
- Set up and follow up on pending cancellations and Reconciliations / Reversals as needed.
- Process endorsements online with our carriers adds open activity and updates our agency management system.
- Follow up on all policy endorsements for entire Personal Lines department and follow through with a second request if needed.
- Assist the leadership team in ensuring that the workflow criteria are being met and assists others within the department if need be.
- Retrieve email messages daily from Insurance Services mailbox and distribute to appropriate staff.
- Provide back up for PL Account Manager's mail as needed.
- Responsible to set accounts for rewrites and provide notification to PL Acct Managers & Producers on impending cancellations
- Inbound / Outbound telephone calls
- Scan / sort mail as assigned and update information into EPIC.
- Review flood renewals and follow ups on payments and policy issuance.
- Request endorsements for companies we do not upload with and add follow up for the Processing Department.
- Request manual endorsements and add follow up for the Workflow Department - Store manual endorsements - Workflow Coordinator will delete when processed.
- Ability to work cross functionally within the organization.
- Provide an outstanding Customer Experience to Salem Five customers and prospects.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Salem Five's digital technology offering.
- Proficient with mobile smart phones and downloading applications. This includes the basics of texting, email and application management.
- Proficient utilizing desktop applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Exchange) Proficient utilizing the Internet (mobile and desktop) to search and locate information.
- Embrace new and emerging technologies to support operations and customers through flexibility and the ability to learn and adapt to change.
- Participate in Carrier and Vendor training.
