What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Inspector position at SFBCIC?
Responsible for inspecting properties in assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Physically inspect property for condition and exposure purposes.
- Reinspect properties as needed.
- Regular travel including overnight as required for the purpose of inspecting properties.
- Assist with inspecting property damage when needed following a catastrophe event.
- Communicate with the public regarding procedures, problems, and coverages.
- Report risk related situations to the Underwriting department.
- Participate in training and continuing education courses as requested or required.
- Use ladders occasionally to inspect property.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Obtain and maintain FAA Drone Pilot's License
