Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the cafeteria service area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or needs for supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and accommodating special requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
