The Warehouse Operations Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and timely shipment of equipment and products while managing customer interactions. They supervise and train direct personnel, ensuring goals are met and adequate staffing is in place for compliance and business needs. The manager ensures all training is completed on time and up to date to maintain operational efficiency.

- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

- $63k-65k a year

Warehouse Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Organizes and maintains the warehouse for shipping, receiving, and staging of equipment/products in accordance with internal and client policies. Processes shipments, coordinates dock schedules, ensures accurate order fulfillment, and manages documentation for billing and daily operations. counts: manages and completes special warehouse projects as directed.
- Completes all necessary paperwork related to daily activities and assigned personnel. Conducts basic testing of medical equipment and coordinates repairs, providing updates to the Inventory Management System as needed. Ensures all units have their original barcodes and that barcode label is accurate and readable.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of systems such as Inventory Management System (IMS), Dock Processing Utility (DPU), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) for processing shipments. Actively contributes to the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure team performance and efficiency.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by management.
Warehouse Operations Supervisor Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience required
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in a warehouse environment
- 1 year of forklift experience required
- 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment required
- Ability to acquire TSA certification (if required)
- Must pass background and drug tests
- Up-to-date immunization for Hepatitis B or a completed declination form required.
- Working knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA; willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas if needed
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, industrial trucks, pallet jacks); ability to obtain forklift certification, possibly including Train the Trainer certification
- Technical/trade certification and/or mechanical training preferred
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Warehouse Operations Supervisor Skills and Physical Demands:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory and/or warehouse management platforms; ability to quickly learn new software as needed.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, reaching, standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 40 pounds, and pushing up to 450 pounds up a ramp.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
