The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I performs imaging procedures and patient care within diagnostic x-ray and one (1) or more advanced imaging modality. The advanced imaging modalities include CT, MRI, or mammography. The Multimodality Imaging Technologist I will function independently and must meet all the minimum qualifications and requirements for the modalities in which they practice.
Education Qualifications
  • Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year of radiology/imaging experience is required.
  • Experience working in an advanced modality is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification in an advanced modality through ARRT is preferred (Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)).
  • License Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Pay Range:

$31.03 - $46.54

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
