Shift Info:Early Mornings, Day, and Late Night Shifts.

 

McGee Air Services is an around the clock operation; one's ability to work a variety of shifts including overnight weekends and holidays are minimum requirements of the job. We work hard and like to have fun too; we simply adjust when we celebrate and enjoy time away from work.

 

Pay Rate: The starting pay rate for this position is expected to be $22.78 per hour. The current full hourly range for this position is $22.78 per hour.

Responsibilities

Do you match this skillset ?

  • Perform fleet functions and other servicing (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water)
  • Maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment
  • Working in an environment full of activity, fast-paced, and often noisy.
  • Safety is our number one concern and we provide personal safety gear for use on the job.
  • Must comfortably, frequently, continuously and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

Must haves to join our team:

  • Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
  • Performing work according to set procedures
  • Anticipating the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
  • Performing basic mathematical functions (e.g., counting bags, verifying cargo weights)
  • Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have the ability to operate and get into equipment safely
  • Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
    • Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Review the SIDA Badge Requirements document for a comprehensive overview.

Physical Requirements of the Job:

All team members are expected to be able to constantly lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent, consistent and repetitive basis. Certain roles require team members to work while on their knees, at or above their shoulders, or while bending or stooping.
