Location: SFO Business and Career Center – San Francisco International Airport, Departures Level, A Side (across from the Medical Clinic)
The center is located inside the San Francisco International Airport NOT located at 575 N. McDonnell Road
Parking Validation Available. Bring your parking ticket with you.
Directions to SFO's Business and Career Center
BART- Exit the BART station and walk toward the International Terminal. Ask the Information Booth to direct you to SFO’s Business and Career Center.
Directions from International Parking Garage A or G - Take the AirTrain to the departures level of International Terminal A. Look for signs to SFO’s Medical Clinic, the Center is located across from the SFO’s Medical Clinic. Parking validation available.

Qualifications

- Attend an information session to learn more about the FAMS position and hiring process
- Apply for the FAMS position
- Take a proctored computer-based test
- Participate in structured interviews to assess qualifications for the position
- Successful completion of assessment phase will result in scheduling of a Physical Training Assessment at a nearby training facility; workout clothing will be required
- Fingerprint capture
- Complete a medicalevaluation, federal drug screening and pre-hire background investigation soon after the event
Application Requirements
- Minimum three years of work experience, or bachelor’s degree or higher, or combination of education and experience.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, including a polygraph.
- Successfully pass a medical evaluation and a physical fitness assessment.
- At least 21 year of age at the time of application.
- Maximum age of 36 at the time of appointment (Preference eligible veterans may be permitted a waiver allowing for entry on duty prior to their 40th birthday).
