ID# 6662A Assists the Staff, Staff Assistant, and Program Manager in the implementation, coordination, and continuing operations of the EVYFC Outpatient Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Answer incoming calls to the clinic and direct the calls appropriately. Greet all clients arriving for appointments and ensure that clinicians are promptly notified. Ensure parking validation for all clients at the end of their appointments.
Obtain initial information for all prospective clients and verifies insurance. Schedules intake appointments and creates / completes SRL on Exym. Completes Notice of Actions (NOAs) for any intake appointments outside the DMH Access to Care Guidelines.
Troubleshoots lapses in Medi-cal and follows through with both the clinician and the MIS department to ensure timely billing. Provide clients with attendance letters for school.
Assist in providing support to the psychiatrists through the scheduling of appointments. Assist in overseeing operation and maintenance of office facility and equipment.
Maintains confidentiality and protects client records, assuring that all filing, logging and records are current. Sets up, maintains and modifies, as needed, office systems and procedures.
Oversees distribution of incoming and outgoing mail. Additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager / Staff Assistant.
