Description
As a Business Analyst, you bridge the gap between IT and business by assessing client scope, reviewing current processes, determining and documenting requirements for development, and delivering recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. With great attention to detail, you evaluate client-supplied materials and assess the initial capability for MPX to develop comprehensive requirements based on what is supplied. If there are any gaps, you quickly identify them.
Across each industry we serve, you build and maintain expertise on client data file formats and software. You review client data samples and adapt document designs to reduce billing inquiries or deliver client goals. As an active participant in client meetings, you create informative, detailed, and prioritized meeting notes for both internal and external distribution. You manage client and project manager deadlines, providing feedback on priorities. If any dates are at risk, you are proactive in reaching out to management.
Always happy to help, you support both our clients and other employees at MPX. You create and maintain software training documentation and provide client training on MPX tools. Our print processing and operations teams depend on you to assess requirements for new support requests. Additionally, you are happy to take on any internal improvement initiatives you are assigned. In this role, you find yourself solving new puzzles each day, and you feel accomplished knowing our company is growing thanks to your hard work!

Requirements
- College degree
- 2 years of experience in a related role
- 2 years of experience with any of the following software : MySQL, database queries, Scripting, Object Oriented Development, multi-record data files (JSON, XML, CSV, etc.)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent follow through, with a high sense of urgency.
- Experience in Quadient Inspire, Planet Press, OpenText Dialogue, or InDesign is a plus.
