Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Gift Shop Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organized and inviting shopping environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the shop.
• Provide knowledgeable information about merchandise, including features and benefits.
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling procedures.
• Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing inventory effectively.
• Supervise the shop during shifts, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Experience in Herbs, flowers or botanicals preferred.
• Proficient in stock management and inventory control practices.
• Previous experience in flower shop settings is advantageous but not required.
• Basic sales techniques to promote products effectively.
• Competence in cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
